Diana Reiss, Ph.D. is Professor of Psychology at Hunter College, an international recognized cognitive recognized researcher who studies intelligence in animals. She has done work in mirror self-recognition and communication in dolphins and other cetaceans, as well as in elephants. At TED 2013 she unveiled with Peter Gabriel, Vincent Cerf and Neil Gershenfeld she unveiled a new project about the internet of species. If the internet connects people all over the world could the internet also connect us with dolphins, apes, elephants and other highly intelligent species?
